Golden on Google

After trying out the GeoMashup and Geo Plugins, and not being able to get them to work properly (God, IDiot!), I decided to go another route and look at the Geo Maps Plugin for Wordpress. The only downside is that I’ve got to hit up the Google Maps page to get use the URL. The way the Geo Maps Plugin works, you must supply the “Link to this page” URL from the map page in order to link to the correct map. The upside? I kow for sure that the map will be identical to the one from the page where I took the map link. I can also save the map in My Maps sinced I’m logged in to my Google account.

Some example parameters + style:
- googlemap Renders a map with controls, marker an default sizes, as specified in the plugin’s admin page, under WP Options.
- googlemap;nocontrols;w:300;h:200 Renders a 300×200 map with marker but no zoom controls.
- googlemap;nomarker;nocontrols;w:100;h:100 Renders a small 100×100 map without marker and zoom controls.
- googlemap;nomarker;nocontrols;w:100%;h:300 Renders a maps that fills the full width available with a 300 pixels height, without markers and zoom controls.
